"What was that call?" Do you find yourself asking that at events? Then this class is for you. Mark Heath will walk participants through the calls the army used to communicate with the infantry, both in camp and in the field. This class will be an excellent introduction to skirmish calls for the infantry as it will be held Saturday night and the battalion will skirmish by the bugle on Sunday.
is a member of the 5th Michigan Infantry. He's been around the living history hobby for the past 10 years but has only been active for about two. He's a self taught bugler who learned taps to help out at SUVCW ceremonies. The interest continued and attended the Don Hubbard Field Music School last year. At this school, Mark was named the "most improved bugler." Mark has had the honor of sounding taps at Andersonville, Coampus Martius Park and Gettysburg. In May, he will sound Taps over the Civil War Tomb of the Unknowns in Gen. Lee's Rose Garden at Arlington, VA.
