Battalion Drill in Star Fort

Drill was one of the goals of the weekend. Here, the infantry marches on the dril field in front of the 1848 Limestone Barracks. The plywood inserts are covering openings made by windows being removed for restoration.

A moment in the action where Scott Cummings was busy giving instruction. Notice the maroon "Canada Hat" worn by the 4th Michigan. The maker of these hats donated over $500.00 to the restoration of the Fort while making these.
